| What
are the benefits to being a member of Camera Clash? |
As
a member, you can create and join battles. Also, only
members can post in the forums,
send private messages or vote on photos submitted
for battles.

| Are
there specific requirements for photos that I post? |
Since
we are not a stock photo site, we don't need huge
images. All photos must be in .jpg RGB format and
no larger than 2MB in size. It
is highly recommended that you resize your photos
down to 900 x 675 before uploading to ensure that
there are no problems!

| How
is the winner of a battle decided? |
Members
vote on submitted photos. Voting remains open for
one week after the last photo in that battle is posted.
You may see how much time is left to vote on a battle
by viewing that battle.
Top |
| Where
and how do I vote on photos submitted during battles? |
You
can vote on submitted photos by viewing any battle
live or past within the voting period. Simply view
the battle and the submitted photos are shown at the
bottom of the page with a place to vote for each photo.
Vote on each photo in 3 categories. Score each category
1 - 5 with 5 being best.
- True
to theme:
How well does that photo capture the theme for that
round?
- Composition:
How good is the quality of the photo? Is it pleasing
to the eye?
- Creativity:
Did the photographer come up with a unique way to
capture the theme?

| Am
I allowed to photograph the same type of object as my
opponent? |
Absolutely!
After all, you are trying to depict the same theme.
Keep in mind that people may score your photo lower
on the "Creativity" portion if they are
too similar.

| How
much can my photo be edited? |
While
you can certainly remove logos, trademarks, etc.,
you cannot combine more than one photo. Remember too
that what you think looks great (e.g. posterized,
negatives) might turn off someone voting on your submission.
